     What is a

composite core?

 Composite cores are methods

used to increase the density of

a part while minimizing weight.

  Are there other benefits to

using an inner core as a multi layer "sandwich" composite part

ABOUT

A composite part designed as a sandwich core construction is able to increase a part strength by x10

All modern methods of transportation

use sandwich composite construction which makes designs lighter, stronger faster + savings in energy consumption.

ABOUT US

Founded in 2003 in USA, CLARASONIC began our Asia

operation by introducing ROHACELL - the highest performing speaker cone material to the loud speaker industry. With a background in R&D audio & composite design experience, CLARASONIC collaborates with many of the world's biggest Tier 1 brand names and largest manufacturers of composite solutions. CLARASONIC imports containers of inner core materials to our Asia based warehouse where we provide fast delivery of long lead-time materials at any sheet thickness requested of our premium inner core material solutions.

SERVICES

Utilizing our computer operated slicing machine, our factory can cut full sheets of inner core materials ranging from 1mm and higher of all types of rigid foams including ROHACELL®, PVC RIGID, R-PET, SAN as well as KEVLAR \ ARAMID FIBER & NOMEX HONEYCOMB. Offering FREE slicing of full sheets to small sizes = low cost shipping.

Our factory has a specialized slicing machine for cutting smaller sheet sizes at ultra-thin sheets of specific tight cell rigid foams such as ROHACELL® HF, RIMA & HERO which can be sliced from 100µm & higher. Possible applications include miniature speaker cones & flat diaphragms, 5G PCB substrates, antennas & case housing covers.

Thermal forming combines multiple  layers of composites such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, KEVLAR and similar materials as a top \ bottom skin attached to an inner core material (i.e. ROHACELL®, HONEYCOMB) to make light weight parts @ +10x strength in complex shapes such as 3D speaker cone designs with emboss \ engrave shapes to surface.

CNC 3-AXIS ROUTING

CNC Routing.jpg

CNC routing syncs a computer with a high speed router. Materials are placed onto a specialized table & able to use various types of router bits to precisely cut rigid foams to the desired shape. Cuts are able to be made to the top of materials as well as the four sides but not to the bottom surface which is securely fastened to the table.

COMPOSITE RODS

Utilizing our various rigid foam materials including all types of ROHACELL® as well as SONIC PVC rigid foams, CLARASONIC is able to convert these materials into round dow stick \ pole shapes at a variety of diameters. Possible applications: sporting goods, fishing pole blanks, parts for RC aircraft as well as other hobbyist projects.

SLICING SERVICES
